BINS are large and solidly built. They are completely weatherproof. They have a steel and aluminum exterior and a "softer" wooden interior. They have a steel roll-up door, which you lock with your own padlock. You are the only one who can get into your BIN.
Metal units (without wood) are likely to form condensation on the inside of the walls. If you’ve ever owned a metal shed you know there are mornings where your hand gets soaked if you touch the inside walls. In our “metal over wood” BINS, the wood acts as insulation and prevents both condensation and mildew.
Many of our competitors claim their units are 8 feet wide when really they are only 7.5 feet wide. Ours are over 8' wide. This gives our customers up to 55 additional cubic feet. Is this important? It is crucial if the extra space allows the last few pieces to fit inside.
Our BINS are 8 feet high and 8 feet wide and come in either 12-foot or 16-foot lengths. A 12' BIN can fit the contents or a typical one-bedroom apartment. A 16' BIN can fit the contents of a typical two-bedroom apartment. Customers with large homes may require more than one unit.
The picture shows a forklift lifting a BIN. This is to help illustrate how the BINS are built. They rest on pressure treated 4x4s spaced every two feet beneath the BIN. This serves two purposes. First, it prevents the unit from scratching your driveway. Secondly, this allows air to pass underneath the BIN, which keeps the inside completely dry.
